Why Outsourcing is a form of Automation When you think of automation you probably think of autoresponders and the delivery of digital products, payment services and emails. But automation in some senses can also refer to any job you don't have to physically do yourself. Traffic generation is one task where many services can be employed to save you time. It's true you may have to get a fair bit of copy preformatted and give very precise instructions but unless you enjoy this task, outsource it. There are many submission tools you can emply that will save you hours of time. Some of these are termed Black hat but that's all in the way that you use them. Semi automated tools are quite acceptable and can get the job done in a fraction of the time you'd take to doing it all by hand. Outsource some services to do these jobs for you. It's less costly than you might think and better for you than the expensive and recurring costs of Adwords. You'll be choosing single payment tasks that once done - stay done, and the links lie there on the web for good constantly working for you. Coca Cola advertises so people know they should buy their product. Coke doesn't spend millions of dollars on branding ads because it has too much money and wants to make movies as a hobby. They advertise so people will know that coke is cool. They advertise because they know the market is fickle and their competition is keen. They advertise because they know that - If its not in your face - it's not on the market.
Even websites or blogs that don't use any form of monetization are still subject to the same need as those that do - the gaining of readers. Traffic Generation is about finding your audience. And there are more ways to do it than there are days in a year to explore them! So why is it that some succeed and their blogs prosper while others encounter only frustration and obscurity?
If you build it (on the Internet)
Your readers find you when your links are in the places they go. How profound is that? Placing links where people go! You worked hard on your site. Don't waste that time by not letting people know that you are open for BUSINESS. Even if on your blog you are discussing the way your babies head is soft and sweet smelling and how lonely you feel sometimes because you don't see your old friends - you are BLOGGING. You must be talking to someone, else you'd be writing in a secret diary hidden under the bed. Wouldn't you...? Be a TALL POPPY not an invisible wallflower... Traffic generation is an essential task for your blogs success. If you don't advertize you are a just like any other nice little red and black poppy in the field. To be a tall poppy - feed your blog some marketing seo, uprrot yourself and socialize and seed your content to lots of external sites. Over this last year of excruciatingly frustrating trial and mega multiple errors, I have come to the conclusion that there are three very effective and quite respectable ways to increase your traffic. No, there's nothing secret about them. These are the distribution of articles, the use of seo optimized pages for niche keywords and the joining of social sites and blog communities. In my opinion these methods are where you should concentration your efforts at first. But don't stop there - there's always more (and more... and more.. )! The other side of the equation is having great stuff to give away and a site that converts when your traffic works but that's not part of this module as such. This module is an A-Z guide to the optimal ways of gaining readers and clients who are interested in your product or information. A-Z means 26 letters. So there's a minimum of 26 essential strategies for increasing your blog traffic.
There are both online and offline ideas and some are in detail and some are just sketched in. Links you place on external sites are virtual sign posts you make that will be pointing to your site the way a traffic sign or billboard does by the roadside. HEADLINE those links. BE BOLD about them. SHOUT a bit. Be wild. Cause a FUSS. When you are stuck for inspiration - take out the A-Z module and take a stab at a letter with a pin. There will be something in this module, that will be both new and effective to get readers interacting with your site and telling their friends about it. Use those blog communities. Not only will this help your traffic but it will enable you to find friends in the blogging community who will help you with your blogs and review, critique and link to your blog. Just be sure to return the favours . Just as in real life - to have a friend - you have to be a friend. If you in turn help them to promote their own projects, you can stop being cynical about that "friend" name and start seeing it for what it is, an genuine opportunity to make it real. Free advertising is also an important stategy you can use to promote your minisite. If you have the money paying for advertising is also an option. Some are better than others, some options it's strongly recommended that you don't waste your money on. Try and use your common sense and look back at that profound statement from before. Your readers find you when your links are in the places they go. Is your target market surfing on a traffic exchange or sifting through over 4,000 unopened emails from a "safe" list? Lets be realistic, will they open that viral ebook more than once - if at all? Or is your target market chatting on twitter, networking at Blog Catalog, quietly reading an expert blog, playing games on facebook or searching for bargains on ebay or craigs list? The three methods mentioned above are covered in some detail, as is the writing of advertisements and the formating of links and signatures. There isn't room to describe too many social sites but My Space is used as an example from which you can get a fair idea of what to do on other social sites.
Bonus #1 ($27.00 Value)
There may be other unannounced bonuses that come with this module but what's available here is there for now and may be gone tomorrow. Take your chances if you wait to take me up on this deal. P.S. Now just for a minute, ignore how much you're going to save or how many bonuses there may be. Just picture your stats page and imagine a 1,000 hits a day. Now that's a worthy goal, Yes? Have you got that bottle of champagne chilling in the fridge? Is it possible? Of course its possible. Will it be hard work? Lets just say that if you do this effectively it has to be less difficult than your current way of doing it and better for you than the even worse option of not doing it at all. Get some help with it and it will be painless as a friends dental extraction.
You absolutely MUST do some of this module. Doing all of it is simply not possible. I cannot say to you that Gather is THE Social Site YOU should concentrate on unless I might know that you are selling romance books. Gather has a lot of book groups and writers groups socialising. I have noticed it runs competitions for Romance writers. But if your niche is cars, it may not be the social site for you. I cannot know which technique will work for you, but I can give you them all so you can choose. Each social site has a particular demographic and has members who have niche needs. Research to find the sites that best suits the niche you have chosen and concentrate your efforts there. Don't sign up for every site there is. Find the means that works best for you.
There are not any rules to getting traffic, other than you must interact and distribute links. How you do it is up to you and what you feel comfortable about doing. Don't invest a lot in any one system at first. Do invest a little and try it for a month and see how it goes. If it succeeds increase your investment in it. If it fails to perform, ditch it. If you are ready for visitors, if you have a site, a blog, a salespage or an affiliate link - whether it's a free website or a membership site that cost you a fortune - YOU NEED TO GET TRAFFIC TO IT! So join a blog community and make some friends. There is someone out there that feels just the way you do. This is what traffic is all about. Finding your readers. Finding friends who will listen to what you are saying. Finding clients for your business. Discussions are raging all over the Internet. Join the conversations.
