Everyone is always in a frenzy at this time of year – so making something Christmassy that will save someone else time, is a good strategy. If you plan it now and start selling it just as other people are catching up, you should be able to set up some quick cash streams very easily.
As an ex bookseller – I know Christmas is the pivot of the retail year. We start ordering calendars in March for the new year and stock orders for new releases of books for Christmas are usually placed from July to September to stagger the release of big name authors bringing out new titles.
Without Christmas, few retailers would remain in business. The one week before Christmas can more than triple the sales of the week before – which in turn was triple to the week before that. To be prepared to make this kind of money in two weeks you have to spend up to get the stock to sell before the event.
People can go for months frugally ignoring sales messages but in December they burst forth from the chrysalis and become shopaholics for a brief time.
Are you ready for this – have you made a plan to net the shopaholics cash?
This week I’ll be talking about some quick cash streams you might want to think about setting up right now. Today is the 10th of November. There are only 44 days to Christmas and only 28 of those are business days.
To this end I have written some quick post outlining ways you can capitalise on this crazy time of the year.
I am also running a competition to get comments on this blog.
I will give Christmas bonuses to anyone who comments on this blog between now and Christmas. The size of the bonus will depend on the quantity and quality of your comments.
This will also help you out as each comment you leave gives you a link back to your own blog or site and as my blog are do follow blogs you get the link love from this. So make sure you enter the email address you want the bonus link sent to on the blog when you comment.
