It’s tempting to go for a higher price range at Christmas but the small report is a good seller at any time and creating some quick cash streams by selling some small reports related to Christmas is a good idea.

Small report authors could write some new small reports with

Delicious Christmas Recipes

A printable Christmas Carol Book

Reprints of public domain Christmas poems and stories

How To  books ( such as

“How to cope with relatives you don’t like for yet another christmas do!”

“How to Make Homemade Gifts for ChristmasPresents”

“How to Help Children Make Christmas Decorations”

“How to Make Crackers with great jokes and trinkets in them”

(Or Bangers, Bon Bons  – or whatever your country calls them)

These small Christmas reports can be personally sold on your own niche sites, or given away. Or you could sell a package of them as PLR or MRR for other marketers to use. If you know how to make them rebrandable you can offer them to affiliate program managers or membership sites.

You’ll have better ideas I’m sure for titles, just another quick cash stream seed.

Plant it and see what grows from your own imagination.

Christmas is a time when we’d like to spoil our families so making a bit of money while people are in a spending mood is only good business. Here another idea for those people looking to set up some quick cash streams.

How About Planning A Firesale.

I got the seed for this post from a marketer who recently put together a quick firesale and I’m posting his link here because not only does it have some great products – some that you can use yourself – but it includes a firesale program you can use.

Most of the products included have Master resale rights and there are several books on getting traffic. So this Christmas firesale collection is very well planned for executing a turn around and repeat sell strategy.

Use the tools there to promote the sale of the products you get in the package and also to get more traffic to your pages. If you are not too greedy (trying to sell all the products at +$50) but you price the products in the lower range, you should do well.

Use the firesale software and make your own christmas firesale page using this example as a model.

If quick cash streams are what you need, you have all the tools you need here to set one up.

The whole package is better than reasonably priced.  Spend $20 and sell 4 products @ $5 and you are already breakeven . I’m sure if you are creative you can do a lot better than that, especially with some of these products.

Santa’s Sack of Goodies

One of the tools is a submitter -  if you have ever thought of offering a service why not try and sell your service in the forums.  Do a test run submitting one of your own sites using the software, see how much time it takes, then price accordingly . Then offer a submission of links or articles in a forum where you can post an ad for something like this.

You can find a forum by Googling “sell services + forum”.

The use of RSS feeds can involve some complicated here and there with installing a feed plugin and configuring a sidebar, or it can take up space in the sidebar and be coded in there with a widget that will display the feed. There are some fantastic different ways to do it and the benefits are that as the titles change when the feed is updated, so your blog is perceived to have new content which means that even if you are not such an active blogger, your blog does not suffer so much from this lack of activity.

It can be difficult to find, or I should say be certain, that the feed you choose for your site is ok to be added and used, many blogs don’t give a firm policy about it and many feeds have certain restrictions for example that they may not be used for commercial blogs.

The following site wants you to use their feeds. They will in fact pay you to use them. It won’t make you a fortune but every little counts as they say. The embed function is easy to use and you can embed (in the code area) within a post or as a text widget. You can see what it will look like below. There is a huge range of feeds available for multiple niches. Click on the embed icon below to use this feed article or find the site name to go to sign up and discover niche specific feeds that you’d prefer to use.

When I entered this feed it had an article about a homeless farmer saying that this was the best zongzi he’d ever tasted. It referred to the food that was being distributed to people made homeless by the disastrous quake in China. I loved this article, I don’t know what zongzi is, but I do know that many of people hit by the quake in China are people who will lose their land forever and be homeless, who will have lost many relatives including perhaps their only child, so it’s nice to read an article that has a small happiness to report from this major tragedy.

Because this is a feed and news changes, I don’t know what article you will see when you look below, but that’s the point isn’t it? To have different content on your blog, timely and relevant new content. Now there’s not a lot of news regarding blogging so I can’t place a relevant feed on this blog, but if you have a good niche, there are many topical feeds to choose from which will have content that is highly relevant to your site. So this is a great way to add new content, add a few dollars to your income and keep your blog fresh with news that is up to the minute when people view it.

I have a confession to make. I have bitten off way more than I can chew. I am wearing so many hats at the moment that my headaches. I’m failing to do the one thing I really want to do – blog!

If there were 168 hours in a day rather than a week, I still think I’d have trouble getting everything done. How do you people do it?

Currently I’m a website designer, a copy writer, a book author, an affiliate manager, a blogger, a campaign manager, a copywriter, an seo optimizer, an affiliate, still a student, a resource researcher, an editor, a publisher, a jv broker, an advertising manager, a mother, a wife, a cook and house cleaner, a vet, an amateur – tired and broke.

But I have got to the stage where my product launch is finally almost ready and there’s only 2 days before the first module is released. It has been a long journey. I’m only about a quarter of the way to where I want to go.

I have found some awesome plugins I want to try out . I have titles for a hundred articles I want to write. I have new videos for the library I want to upload and still have not found time to submit links, visit social sites, fix the forum or finish the blogging module.

God, I sound like a whingeing pom! ( I am a pom, so I’m allowed to say that!)

But I read a post just recently (on a mom blog I’ll find the link for soon and share) that said the lesson she recalled recently was one from a writing teacher when she handed in an assignment. Here it is she said … and I’m sure we’ve all been to this point in time before, where you’ve just spent hours (or months) creating something and some one turns around and says…

“So what.”

And cruel as it is at the time, the lesson is about giving relevant and irresistible writing that won’t make your readers yawn.

Funny thing, I just started looking for the link to that post and came across this on on Guru Addiction, which seemed appropriate. Then I followed a link and found a new tool called Snap Preview Anywhere which looks pretty cool and is something I probably should get because I didn’t find the post I read yesterday and I didn’t save the link because I didn’t plan to talk about it. So a second apology to the blogger who wrote it.

Well I’ve had my rant and now it’s time to apologize. I have neglected to stay in communication with you all and I am sorry. I’m hoping that this will change for the better over the next month. In fact I’m also hoping in the school holidays to take a look at the beach which I haven’t seen all Summer.

Either way, I hope to be a better blogger soon. It’s ironic isn’t it. I create a site about blogging and I no longer have time to blog. So what? Things have to change. I need a new theme for this blog, I need to get those plugins working, I need to add some colour to this site and let the sun in on a few dark corners.

Too many hats spoiled the view. On that note I also read this relevant post that struck a chord in my heartstrings

A Strategy For Building Blog Networks

This is a rather awesome post about niche blogging with some very wise advise about not biting off more than you can chew. This has been my problem since I started doing this. The sweetshop of options is filled with tempting projects and choosing just one niche, or just one project is a real trial.

His advice about employing writers is good if you can afford to do it but until there is revenue this won’t be a real option for most people. Hiring from elance for several articles may however be something worth considering. Also possible, now I think about it is the awesome software Dragon Speaking which allows you to dictate your post and simply edit the output when it converts it to text. Great for non typists and rsi complainants.

Multi blogging when you have some experience does become easier but add several different forms of marketing to the mix and multi blogging proves impossible to keep up with. Currently I’m mired in work and unable to get off the treadmill. But I do know that blogging is my passion and I will always want to do it.

I just need to scale back on too many other projects. Time to take off a few hats I think.

Wait, wait – I found it – Here’s the So What story, it’s cool.
